Kevin J. Donohoe - Executive Vice President

Kevin J. Donohoe has been involved in real estate for the past 30 years. Mr. Donohoe is a graduate of University College Cork, Ireland and came to the United States in 1984. Mr. Donohoe began his real estate career in 1989 working for cooperative and condominium managers and developers in New York City and its environs. In 1996 he received his Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and in 1997 his Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

In 2000 Mr. Donohoe took a position as a Senior Asset Manager at Sentinel Real Estate Corp. In 2002 Mr. Donohoe was promoted to Vice President of Asset Management and managed a portfolio of 7,500 Class A units in the west coast states. Mr. Donohoe left Sentinel in 2005 to become Senior Vice President at Village Green Companies. Mr. Donohoe's portfolio at Village Green was headquartered in Chicago. The portfolio was comprised of 14,000 apartments in 40 properties in twelve states.

Mr. Donohoe joined Equity Property Management L.L.C. in June 2008 as Executive Vice President and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Property Management Company as well as acquisitions, dispositions and senior asset management functions. In December 2008, Mr. Donohoe received the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from IREM.


Isabel Guerra - Human Resources and Office Manager

Isabel Guerra received her BS degree in Human Resource Management from Purdue University in 2010. Ms. Guerra joined the EPM team in January 2011. Isabel is currently responsible for Payroll Management, Human Resource Administration and general office management as well as providing administrative support to the Executive Vice President.


Mark Pelton - Regional Director of Maintenance

Mark Pelton began his career in property management at a very young age working at his grandfather’s property management company where he began cleaning the office after school and on weekends and shoveling snow during the winter. During high school, Mark worked at his first apartment complex as a summer groundsman where he learned the importance of curb appeal, unit turns and inventory control and also doing light maintenance for a condo association. During college, he worked in the corporate office, learning customer service, banking, budgeting and property inspections.

From 1992-1997 Mark moved over to the construction side of the management company, completing apartment interior and exterior rehabs, scheduling and quality control. From 1997-2002, he stepped out of real estate to work for a large insurance company and climbed the ranks to a supervisor. Mark then returned back to the management company as a salesmen and carpenter.

In 2004 Mark was promoted to Regional Property Manager and managed Section 8 and conventional apartments for the next 11 years. In 2007 received his Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designation.  During this time, he was responsible for overseeing $9 million in major apartment rehabs, was a yearly trainer for the Midwest Association of Housing Cooperative (MAHC) on subjects from REAC Prep to curb appeal and helped properties across the company inspect and prepare for REAC inspections.

Mark joined EPM in February 2015 as the Director of Maintenance. Since then Mark has supervised over $6 million in apartment rehab projects as well as HUD loan prep and REAC work mainly in Indiana. .
